Hi, I'm Ashley, founder and formulator behind every product you'll find here at Wild & Free Alchemy. My path to herbalism wasn't a straight line, it wound through a biomedical sciences degree and a deep love for nature and animals before landing here, at the intersection of science and the wild. That background shapes everything I make, every balm, serum, and salve is rooted in real formulation knowledge, not guesswork or chasing trends.
I forage every botanical by hand across Southeast Idaho, because she is plentiful in medicinal herbs. Red clover, plantain, rose hips, juniper, mullein, yarrow, cottonwood bud resin and more, always harvested with respect for the land that grows them. Each herb is infused into hand rendered tallow using a slow, low-heat process that preserves its natural healing properties, then crafted into balms and skincare made the way skincare used to be made, simple, honest, and effective.
Wild and Free Alchemy is my invitation to return to something older and wiser, to skincare that works with your body instead of against it, made from ingredients the earth already provided.
